A beloved autumn experience has returned to Peterborough, just in time for the Trent-Severn Waterway to transform into a colourful canopy of red, orange, and gold.
Liftlock Cruises is bringing back its popular Triple Crown Fall Colours Cruises for the season, taking guests aboard for a unique three-hour journey through some of Ontario’s most breathtaking fall foliage.

From lifting 65 feet into the air aboard the world’s highest hydraulic lift lock to taking in sweeping views along the Otonabee River and Trent University shoreline, you’ll get to soak in all the seasonal views from the comfort of a double-deck boat.
Snap photos of the surrounding fall landscapes, relax on the upper canopy deck, or grab a drink and seasonal snack from the onboard cash bar. The cruise also features live, informative commentary from the captain about the history of the waterway and how the lock system works.
Tickets are priced at $46.50 per person, which includes full festival-like views along the three-hour sailing. Spots fill up fast, so you’ll want to reserve yours early by phone before the sailings sell out!
The fall colour cruises run on select dates from late September through mid-October, departing daily at 12:30 p.m. from Little Lake in Peterborough.
You can find out more details here on their website, though you’ll have to reserve by phone.
