It’s officially spooky season in Toronto, and one of the city’s favourite local haunts has been transformed into a must-visit Halloween wonderland.
The beloved Black Lagoon pop-up is back, now taking over The Drake Hotel all month long. Brought to life by industry veterans Erin Hayes and Kelsey Ramage, the immersive experience features eerie soundscapes, cinematic lighting, custom glassware, and a killer menu of specialty cocktails.

Guests can sip on themed drinks like Abyssa’s Obsession, a Halloween spin on a piña colada packed with pumpkin-infused spiced rum, coconut, and tobacco bitters, or try the Bone Temple, a dark twist on a margarita featuring tart cherry, spiced oat orgeat, and absinthe.
To top off the month-long experience, The Drake and Black Lagoon are throwing a massive Halloween night bash on October 31st called Beautiful Monsters.
Taking over both The Lounge and Sky Yard starting at 9 p.m., this epic house party feels less like a standard haunted house and more like a high-fashion editorial straight from the depths of a lagoon. Think sirens, mutants, and mad scientists dripping in moss, pearls, prosthetics, and sequins. Plus, you’ll get to enjoy immersive installations, live music, and a chance to win a huge costume prize during the night!
Black Lagoon runs from October 1 through October 31 at The Drake Hotel. Grab your crew, put on your most hauntingly stylish look, and check out their website for more details.
