The Bloor-Yorkville Holiday Magic 2026 celebration takes place from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Village of Yorkville Park, transforming the neighbourhood into a festive holiday destination.
Award-winning jazz singer Molly Johnson will headline the lighting ceremony. A two-time Juno Award winner, Johnson has also received a Governor General’s Award and the Order of Canada. Television host Melissa Grelo will host, with an opening performance by Rosedale Day School’s senior choir, conducted by Carlene Brown.

The celebration supports The Common Table, a community initiative based at the Church of the Redeemer near Avenue Road and Bloor Street. The holiday lights will remain on display through December 31, illuminating Yorkville Park and the surrounding neighbourhood, including the trees along Bloor Street.
Throughout December, the Candy Cane Carolers will stroll through Yorkville, performing four-part a cappella renditions from a repertoire of more than 60 holiday songs.

Catch them December 4–6, 11–13, 18–20, and 22–23, with performances scheduled from noon to 3 p.m. on Fridays and December 22–23, and 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
