Ready for paella, tinto de verano, Nordic-style interiors, and gorgeous mountains and plains at a wonderful price point? Then head to Spain for this year’s European summer getaway! Air Canada recently resumed flights from Pearson International Airport in Mississauga, Ontario for $968 CAD roundtrip to Madrid or $907 roundtrip to Barcelona! That beats a flight to Rome which comes out to $1,011, at the time of writing.
The announcement was made on May 1st as flights to Sweden, Spain, and Western Canada resumed flights from Pearson. Air Canada added six weekly flights between Pearson and Madrid while Scandinavian Airlines has four weekly flights between Pearson and Sweden and three weekly flights between Pearson and Denmark.
No matter what sort of European getaway you’re looking for, beautiful Moorish fortresses and cathedrals in Spain, charming canals and colorful houses in Copenhagen, or never ending sunshine in Sweden, there’s plenty of adventure to be had at a reasonable price point, just in time for spring travels.
