For those who love spooky season, Toronto has plenty of events and haunted attractions all month long leading up to Halloween.
If you’re looking for something else to add to your list, Black Lagoon, North America’s award-winning Halloween pop-up bar, has returned to Toronto for its fifth season, setting up shop in a brand new location.
This year, the immersive cocktail experience is taking over The Walrus located at 187 Bay Street, running from October 1 to November 2, 2025, complete with eerie décor, creepy vibes, and a lineup of bone-chilling drinks.
Founded by industry veterans Erin Hayes and Kelsey Ramage, Black Lagoon has gained a reputation across the U.S. and Canada as THE ultimate haunted bar experience, transforming regular bars in gothic, horror-inspired spaces.
As for what’s on the menu this year, Black Lagoon will feature six original cocktails:
- Creature’s Curse – a fall-inspired blend with rye, rum, sherry, roasted sweet potato, and pumpkin.
- Midnight Forever – black sesame vodka with sherry, miso falernum, lemon, and black glitter.
- Griselda’s Revenge – gin, mango liqueur, tarragon, lemon, and Thai spice.
- Nocturna Colada – a dark twist on the piña colada with black and gold rum, cold brew liqueur, passionfruit, and coconut.
- Corpse Flower – tequila with ube, banana liqueur, lime, and sherry.
- Death’s Door – a non-alcoholic option featuring pineapple, miso falernum, lime, and soda.
Come for the decor, stay for the killer drinks, if you will! You won’t want to miss this one-of-a-kind seasonal experience.
