Spanning more than ten acres, the Barnyard Playland is packed with attractions designed to keep families entertained for hours. Visitors can explore pirate ship playgrounds, bounce on giant jumping pillows, cool off at the summer splash pad, climb a lookout tower perched atop Spider Mountain, and enjoy wagon rides, tire horse swings, and a giant sandbox.
One of the most memorable attractions is Brooks Farms‘ quirky singing chicken show. The show has become a favourite among visitors of all ages. Rather than feeling like a collection of random activities, the Playland is filled with attractions that have remained popular and continue to draw families back year after year.

Fall is the farm’s busiest season, thanks to the annual Fall Fun Festival that draws visitors from across the region. Fan-favourite attractions include the Sue Wee Pig Races, the crowd-pleasing pumpkin cannon show, corn cob blasters, and a corn maze that visitors can explore throughout the festival.
Farm Fun Continues
Visitors can often save by visiting on weekdays, when admission is generally lower than Fall Fun Festival weekend pricing. It’s a great option for enjoying the farm’s autumn activities without the larger crowds.
The farm’s pick-your-own experience enhances a visit. Raspberries are available through the summer and into early fall. Once autumn arrives, the fields fill with pumpkins and squash in a variety of shapes, sizes, and colours. Visitors can also stop by the farm market and bakery to stock up on fresh treats, seasonal produce, and locally made goods before heading home.
Picnic areas throughout the property make it easy to turn a visit into a full-day outing. Between the expansive playland, seasonal attractions, and pick-your-own fields, many families find there’s more than enough to keep everyone busy.
