Each August, more than 700,000 sunflowers bloom across the farm, welcoming thousands of visitors to experience nature, unplug from everyday life, and reconnect with the countryside.
The sheer scale is the first thing you’ll notice when you arrive at Campbell’s Cross Farm. Walking trails wind through towering fields of sunflowers, creating an immersive experience that feels almost like wandering through a golden maze.
Along the way, you’ll find photo-worthy spots like the farm’s vintage bathtub, as well as quieter corners where the crowds fade and endless rows of bright blooms stretch toward the sun, creating a stunning golden landscape.
Farm Experiences
Tucked beside the farm’s maple forest, 26 beehives are carefully positioned to give the bees morning sun and afternoon shade. Each August, around 50,000 bees in each hive transform the surrounding sunflower fields into pure, unpasteurized sunflower honey with a distinctive flavour. Before you leave, be sure to pick up a jar. It’s a delicious souvenir you’ll actually use.
Beyond the sunflower fields, the farm offers a full day of experiences. Enjoy sunrise and sunset yoga, charcuterie picnics among the blooms, floral workshops, meditation walks, and wreath-making classes. Before you leave, be sure to try the farm’s popular watermelon sandwiches and fresh watermelon lemonade. It’s best to book ahead, especially for weekends, popular workshops, and peak bloom.

- Hours: During the Sunflower Festival, Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; weekends, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Admission: Adults (12+) $13.25 + HST; children (5–11) $5 + HST; ages 4 and under are free
- Tickets: Tickets can be purchased online or on-site, though booking ahead is recommended for weekends and popular workshops
- Pets: Leashed dogs are welcome
- Know before you go: Stay on marked paths, don’t pick or touch the sunflowers unless you’ve purchased a Cut-Your-Own experience, and note that outside food and drinks aren’t permitted
- Photography: Personal photos are free. Professional shoots, drone use, and influencer or commercial content require a photography permit booked in advance
