Last week on September 6th, U.S. News released the survey results in which they ranked the perceptions of 87 countries based on a global survery with over 17,000 global citizens. Countries were judged on different attributes, such as power, cultural infuence, heritage, and social purpose.
The list of 25 included many European countries like Porutgal, Spain, and Germany among the list. The US ranked number 5 and Switzerland ranked number 1 for the second consecutive year in a row and sixth year overall, but guess who came in at second?
We were happy to see that Canada was ranked number 2 among a list of some really awesome countries. Canada beat out Germany this year, ranking high in many of the sub-categories like agility, quality of life, and ranked first in racial equity, which is really amazing to see.
There were 10 attributes and this is how Canada ranked on all of them:
- Ranked #20 in adventure
- Ranked #2 in Agility
- Ranked #15 in Cultural Influence
- Ranked #5 in Entrepreneurship
- Ranked #28 in Heritage
- Ranked #57 in Movers
- Ranked #11 in Open for Business
- Ranked #13 in Power
- Ranked #3 in Quality of Life
- Ranked #4 in Social Purpose
