As the end of summer approaches, there’s nothing like capping off the long weekend with a spectacular fireworks display.
Just outside the city, Canada’s Wonderland will once again be hosting its annual Labour Day fireworks extravaganza this weekend on Sunday, September 6, choreographed to an original soundtrack that lights up the night sky right above the park’s iconic Wonder Mountain.
Spend the day braving the thrilling roller coaster rides or taking one last dip at Splash Works before gathering to watch over 6,000 colourful aerial shells soar up to 800 feet in the air. This year’s event brings even more excitement with new fire divers leaping off Wonder Mountain and fun street performances throughout the night.
Best of all, the show is included with regular park admission. As well, the park is offering a new sensory-friendly format for the show inside the Canterbury Theatre with doors opening at 9:30 p.m. Plus, you don’t have to head home right when the pyrotechnics end; Planet Snoopy rides will stay open until 10:00 p.m., while select Medieval Faire attractions like Leviathan will keep rolling until 11:00 p.m.
The Labour Day Long Weekend Fireworks will light up Canada’s Wonderland on Sunday, September 6, 2026, with the show kicking off at a new earlier start time of 9:45 p.m.
