As spooky season ends, Canada’s Wonderland bids adieu to its annual Halloween Haunt and welcomes WinterFest back this November.
Coming to life with the help of 7 million shimmering lights, over 20 rides, and new live entertainment, the country’s largest theme park will soon transform into a magical winter wonderland, located just a short drive north of Toronto.

Returning for its sixth season, dozens of themed areas will be festively decorated with illuminated holiday motifs, including two 50-foot trees on International Street that sparkle to life in a nightly ceremony. Candy Cane Lane is filled with giant candy canes and colorful decorations leading to Charlie Brown’s Christmas Town, while Tinsel Town offers a retro holiday vibe complete with the MistleTones performing cheerful holiday tunes and appearances from the Ice Prince and Princess.
Wonderland’s famous giant fountain will also be turned into an ice-skating rink called Snow Flake Lake, where you can glide under the glowing Wonder Mountain.
With over 40 open attractions, thrill-seekers can go on 23 rides including Charlie Brown’s Christmas Town, Thunder Run, and Sledge Hammer. Don’t miss one of their two new shows: Small Town Snowmance and It’s Christmas, Charlie Brown!, featuring Snoopy and the Peanuts gang.

For the little ones, find Santa Claus at the North Pole, or decorate cookies with Mrs. Claus. They can also make their own take-home keepsakes, or stop by the North Pole Post Office to write letters to Santa.
No holiday event would be complete without themed food, and WinterFest delivers plenty of options. Visitors can indulge in sweet treats like the Butter Tart Funnel Cake and holiday churros, or warm up with hearty dishes at dining spots such as Lazy Bear Lodge, The Cider House, and The Mac Shack.
If you’re searching for the ultimate holiday experience, Wonderland has you covered! WinterFest will take place at 1 Canada’s Wonderland Dr. in Vaughan on select nights from November 15 to January 3.
