These classic Candlelight concerts are returning to Toronto, but this time, with a bit of a nostalgic twist. Experience the magic of listening to iconic and beloved music from some of the most popular anime franchises. Naruto, Inuyash, Full Metal Alchemist (Brotherhood), Sailor Moon, and Dragon Ball, are just some of the timeless classics that will be highlighted, so if you’re a fan, you won’t want to miss the chance to listen to these these tracks at the historic Metropolitan Community Church and Longboat Hall.
For the safety of our audience, all of the candlelight will be provided through flameless candles.
These special concerts will take place within the calming Metropolitan Community Church and elegant Longboat Hall. Guests can experience their favorite anime tracks played out by the talented Listeso String Quartet as the glow of hundreds of candles flicker around the historic walls of these opulent landmarks. At Candlelight: Favorite Anime Themes, nostalgic anime classics will be performed by Listeso String Quartet amid a sea of candles in these extraordinary venues, offering a truly unforgettable musical experience.
The first run of this unique Candlelight anime concert will be unveiled on September 28 at Longboat Hall, and will continue throughout the month of October. You can catch either the 6:30 pm show or the 8:45 pm show, where doors open 45 minutes prior to the start of the performances. Performances last around sixty minutes so that’s one hour to unwind, sit back, and allow yourself to be swept away by these nostalgic tracks played by a talented and local string ensemble.
