There’s been so many exciting food festivals over the summer it’s hard to keep track, but if you want to keep the good times going into September, add this one happening this weekend to your calendar!
The Caribbean Street Food Festival will take over STACKT Market on September 1, 2024, bringing a day of “carousing; telling tales; romping; game playing; jollification and prizes”, according to their event page.
Guests can expect a day of delicious eats, a marketplace with Caribbean and tropical-inspired finds, Hoola Hooping, an egg and spoon race, Domino, Ludo, and fun giveaways and prizes to win.
As for the food itself, classic street treats like doubles, patties, jerk chicken, ginger beer, and so much more will be available to snack on. Don’t miss the free samples of breadfruit flour carrot cake and breadfruit flour muffins!
There’s also going to be music, drum circles, and dancing, so get ready to party!
Did we mention it’s totally free to attend? However, you’ll still have to grab a ticket, which you can find here on their website.
