Casa Loma is providing much-needed light in Toronto this holiday season.
Hey Toronto, Casa Loma’s Holiday Light Tour is on its way to brighten up the season from December 22, 2020 to January 31, 2021! This dazzling outdoor event will festively illuminate the gardens and tunnels at Casa Loma, Toronto’s iconic neo-Gothic style mansion reminiscent of a castle, and it’s going to look like something taken right out of a fairytale!
During the Holiday Light Tour, visitors of all ages will get to admire spectacular outdoor light displays and festive decorations as they stroll through approximately 2 km of scenic gardens and tunnels on the property grounds. Now owned by the City of Toronto, Casa Loma is a treasured historic and architectural landmark that was constructed in 1914 by financier Sir Henry Pellatt, and it’s going to be transformed into a magical winter wonderland.
The picturesque experience takes place from 4 pm – 9 pm daily, but keep in mind you’ll have to enter at a specific date and time. Tickets cost $35 per person or $43 if you want to include a cookie and hot chocolate (prices do not include GST and fees). Also, please note that admission does not include access to the interior of Casa Loma. The event organizers are working closely with local authorities to ensure all current safety protocols are in place, and masks and physical distancing will be required.
