Get your costumes ready, Toronto, because the city’s most legendary Halloween event is officially back and bigger than ever.
Halloween on Church, Canada’s largest and most fabulous Halloween party, is set to transform the Church Wellesley Village into a montrous bash for two nights straight.
On Friday, October 31 from 6:30 p.m. to midnight, the heart of The Village will shut down for a massive street party. The iconic stretch of Church Street from Carlton to Gloucester will be completely closed to traffic, creating a pedestrian-only playground where thousands of revelers can parade their most creative, terrifying, and glamorous costumes.
This year, there will also be a brand new sprawling Beer Garden, offering wicked brews and creepy cocktails to keep the spirits high throughout the night.
The frightful fun doesn’t end on Halloween night; on Saturday, November 1st from 7 p.m. to midnight, the party continues in the parking lot at 512 Church Street, offering a second chance to immerse yourself in the Halloween magic, though the street will remain open to traffic on this second night.
The entertainment lineup for this year’s event is one for the books, stacked with talent. Prepare to be mesmerized by the Queen of Church herself, Sofonda, who is celebrating an incredible 25 years of Drag. The night will also feature a legendary Michael Jackson impersonator delivering a show-stopping tribute right on the main stage.
The star power continues as Canada’s Drag Race superstar Jada Shada Hudson brings her iconic charisma, followed by the powerhouse vocals of Toronto’s own Shahi. Adding to the dynamic energy, Drag King Rico Rico will deliver a captivating performance, while The Men’s Room presents a fierce and sexy fashion show. To keep the massive street party moving, top guest DJs, including the incredible DJ Cozmic Cat, will be spinning the hottest beats until midnight.
Between all your other Halloween plans, Halloween on Church is one you definitely won’t want to miss.
