Take advantage of the EXcelunch Special, and head to the CNE for a mid-day feast on some wild carnival creations without spending a dime on park entry tickets. This unique lunch deal is designed specifically for food lovers, letting you try a variety of bites from vendors that transform classic comfort food into wild, outrageous culinary experiments ready to satisfy even the most adventurous eaters.
Running Monday through Wednesday (excluding Labour Day Monday), this hidden-gem promo allows you to enter the park, fuel up on wild eats, and head back out to collect a refund on your entry ticket.
The lunch deal is technically a deposit, but as long as you play by the rules, you won’t pay for admission. Guests simply purchase a $30 ticket at select entrances between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. As long as you scan out and leave the grounds before 2:00 p.m., your full cash deposit is returned right to your hands.
The EXcelunch Special can be purchased directly at the Saskatchewan Gates, Princes’ Gates, or TTC/GO Gates during the designated hours. Just remember that you must exit through the exact same gate you entered to claim your full refund before the clock strikes 2:00 p.m.
Besides popping in for a quick solo lunch, you can also bring a few co-workers along for the ultimate midday food run. Just be sure to pick up a box of Tiny Tom Donuts to bring back to the office before your time runs out.
