An adorable celebration dedicated entirely to Toronto’s four-legged best friends and their owners is coming to the city this weekend, and it is completely free to attend.
Organized by a team of local pet lovers, Doggie Fest brings together dog owners and furry companions for a fun-filled day.
This year, the festival will feature a soccer-themed paw-ty at the “Toronto Paws Cup” where local pups take center stage. Visitors and their pets can tackle interactive agility challenges, participate in doggie games, and pose at themed photo booths for picture-perfect Instagram moments.
The park will also host a marketplace filled with local pet vendors offering unique handcrafted toys, stylish accessories, and gourmet dog treats. Attendees can also enjoy live music, pop-up entertainment, and exciting prize giveaways throughout the afternoon.
Doggie Fest 2026 will take place at Roundhouse Park (255 Bremner Blvd) on Sunday, August 9, running from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Admission is free for all ages and breeds, though guests can RSVP online via the Doggie Fest website to reserve their spot.
For those looking for even more pup-friendly outings, Doggie Fest is also hosting a Sip & Snack Festival at Henderson Brewing Co on August 22.
