At the heart of Downey’s Farm is a farm market stocked with fresh fruits and vegetables grown by the Downey family. The property also features a bakery known for its pumpkin donuts and pies, plus local honey, preserves, and giftware.
The real draw, however, is the farmyard. With more than 40 attractions and activities, families can spend hours bouncing on giant jumping pillows, climbing a towering tire mountain, racing down a zipline, tackling an elevated ropes course, playing farm-themed mini golf, running inside a human-sized hamster wheel, and getting lost in the corn maze.
Wagon rides run twice daily, taking visitors out to see the farm animals grazing in the fields. The Kritter Korral offers hands-on encounters with goats, sheep, alpacas, donkeys, rabbits, and more. Seasonal pick-your-own strawberries and raspberries are available in summer, with apples arriving in the fall.
Throughout the year, the farm also hosts popular events like Easterfest and Pumpkinfest. Along with a sprawling corn maze featuring more than eight kilometres of trails.
This is the kind of place where you’ll want to spend the entire day. Plan to grab lunch at the on-site bakery lunch counter or Poppa John’s Fry Truck before spending the rest of the day exploring. - Hours: The Farmyard Play Area is open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the summer season before transitioning to Pumpkinfest in the fall
- Admission: Play Area tickets are $18.99 + HST per person (ages 2–92), while children 23 months and younger are free. Tickets must be purchased online in advance

- Food: The on-site Bakery Lunch Counter serves sandwiches, paninis, meat pies, and kids’ meals. Poppa John’s Fry Truck offers fries, poutine, hot dogs, and chicken fingers.
