Toronto’s favourite free summer carnival is back!
Fairbank Summerfest returns to Eglinton Avenue West this weekend from June 20 to 22, 2025, just in time to kick off the first official weekend of summer. With no admission fees, free rides, and live entertainment, this is one city event you won’t want to miss.
Self-described as a “modern twist on a summer carnival extravaganza,” Fairbank Summerfest transforms a stretch of Eglinton West into a vibrant street festival filled with exciting midway rides, games, music, and food. Unlike many events where you pay to enter and then again for each attraction, everything at Fairbank Summerfest is completely free, including access to all rides and performances.
The festival drew over 90,000 visitors last year, and 2025 is shaping up to be even bigger. Along with the carnival attractions, attendees can enjoy international street food, a sidewalk sale styled like a European bazaar, and the always-popular SuperDogs Show, featuring adorable canine performers showing off jaw-dropping tricks and routines.
The 2025 music lineup includes headlining performances by Canadian rock band Honeymoon Suite and the popular Bon Jovi tribute band Keep the Faith. Visitors can also look forward to free popcorn giveaways starting at 1 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday, while supplies last.
It’s a weekend “where good times, great food, and local pride come together”, according to the Fairbank Village BIA.
The festival will take place along Eglinton Avenue West between Dufferin Street and Ronald Avenue. For full event details and the entertainment schedule, visit the Fairbank Summerfest website here.
