August is one of the most exciting months in Toronto and we aren’t going to let it pass you guys by! Here are 4 food festivals you can attend this week that we can’t wait for!
1. Taste of Vietnam
Delicious bowls of pho, fresh and crunchy spring rolls, and iconic bahn mi sandwiches are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Vietnamese food. Don’t believe us? Let Taste of Vietnam show you just how wide a range of ingredients, flavors, and dishes come from the country this week from August 10th-12th. The festival will be at Nathan Phillips Square with food, a cultural fashion show, an art exhibit, parade, and music concert. The festival begins at 10am and ends at 10pm!
2. Grange Festival
On Friday, August 11, 2023, from 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM, you can attend the 82nd Annual Grange Festival. The free outdoor open-air festival is great for families and offers engaging performances and fun-filled activities. Participate in carnival games, face painting, and more at Grange Park.
3. Waterfront Night Market
Don’t miss the 13th Annual Waterfront Night Market, a Pan-Asian food festival and floating lantern music festival. The festival is happening from this Friday, August 11th through Sunday, August 13th. GA tickets cost $35 and include a lantern. The festival is happening at 115 Princes’ Blvd.
4. Taste of the Danforth
Canada’s largest street festival, Taste of the Danforth returns to Toronto this August 11th-13th. Head to GreekTown to enjoy the free entertainment, kid-friendly activities, their beer garden, and diverse and delicious street food from corner to corner.
