A truly Canadian, camp-style dining experience awaits at Fet Zun’s outdoor patio.
As temperatures continue to drop for the winter, Toronto restaurants need to get creative in order to provide their customers with warmth and comfort as they eat outdoors on the patio. One such restaurant, Fet Zun, has done exactly that: they’ve innovated the outdoor dining experience by adding fire pits next to the tables and providing their customers with warm blankets to wrap up in. Thanks to these additions, you can now savour a tasty, aromatic meal while soaking in heat from the fire’s flames in comfy campfire style.
Fet Zun (Yiddish for “fat son”) cooks up flavourful Middle Eastern dishes such as tahini, hummus, and shawarma as well as hearty comfort food including smoked lamb shank and BBQ braised brisket. We recommend you dress warmly for the weather and layer up because this experience takes place completely outdoors. Also, keep in mind you’ll be near a fire, so your clothes may get some of that distinctive smoky smell.
Interested in trying out this cozy dining experience reminiscent of a camping trip? The restaurant is located at 252 Dupont Street in Toronto and seating times are from 4 pm to 9 pm on Wednesdays through Sundays. You can make a reservation on their website or by emailing them at reservations@fetzun.com.
