From February 6-8, from 2 pm-6 pm, Taco Bell will be giving away double a free double layer taco for every donation of clothing. The campaign is called ‘Layers for Layers’ – in exchange for a few layers of clothing, you will receive a voucher that entitles you to one of their double layer tacos. [Photo:@tacobellcanada]
Double layer tacos are new to Taco Bell and the double layer aspect consists of an added layer of cheese on the outside of your taco shell, with a soft tortilla wrap on top of that. They come in three different flavors: cheesy supreme, cool chipotle, and jalapeño cheddar.
The donated clothing will be sent to local charities so it really is focussed on giving back to the community. There is more information available on their website and this is happening in several different cities across Canada. So, if you’re going to be somewhere else, you might still be able to benefit!
