Now that Halloween has passed, ’tis the season to swap out those pumpkin spice lattes for peppermint mochas, mistletoe, and all things merry and bright!
If you’re looking for a spot to truly embrace the holiday spirit, look no further than Toronto’s newest Christmas-themed pop-up, Ginger’s Cocktail Bar.
Brought to you by the owners of beloved Toronto bakery and culinary classroom Le Dolci, the team has transformed their upstairs studio space into a winter wonderland, complete with holiday-themed cocktails, mocktails, music, seasonal snacks, and plenty of Instagram-worthy photo opportunities.
The cocktail menu at Ginger’s features festive favorites like the Sugar Plum Spritz, Gingerbread Martini, Sugar Cookie Shooter, and the Snow Globe Frosty.
For those looking for non-alcoholic options, there will be cozy choices like the Cranberry Spice Punch, Jolly Apple Fizz, and a comforting Hug in a Mug – basically a delightful hot chocolate topped with a mountain of whipped cream and mini marshmallows.
As a bakery first and foremost, guests can count on a variety of delectable holiday-inspired baked goods, including Maple Pumpkin Scones, Snickers Butter Tarts, Sea Salt Chocolate Chip Cookies, Ferrero Rocher Logs, Iced Lemon and Cranberry Cookies, Ginger Molasses Cookies, and Pumpkin Pie Butter Tarts.
In the spirit of the holidays, Ginger’s is also giving back to the community.
For every reservation made, $5 will be donated to the Daily Bread Food Bank. Reservations can be booked online for $25, with $20 going towards your final bill. Walk-ins are welcome as well. The pop-up is family-friendly before 8 p.m., but after that, it becomes a 19+ venue.
Keep an eye on their website for a number of fun holiday-themed events, from an Ugly Christmas Sweater Party to a Christmas Movie Trivia Night!
Ginger’s will officially open from November 15 to December 24 on the second floor of Le Dolci, located at 12 Sousa Mendes St.
