No alcohol, no problem!
Whether you’re embracing Dry January this month or already lead a booze-free lifestyle Heineken’s Route 0.0 is bringing Toronto a unique twist on a sober night out at some of the city’s top nightlife spots.
Starting January 11, for three consecutive Saturday nights, Heineken 0.0 will transform a regular Toronto streetcar ride into an unforgettable party.
With live DJ sets, free Heineken 0.0, and stops at some of the city’s trendiest nightlife spots, Route 0.0 offers a fresh perspective on nightlife sans-alcohol.
“We know that choosing a non-alcoholic beverage often invites questions or assumptions,” said Jose Casillas, Marketing Director at Heineken Canada.
“Whether you’re taking a break, trying something new, or simply savoring the moment, the reason doesn’t matter. Heineken Route 0.0 is here to challenge the misconception that alcohol is needed for a fun and memorable night out.”
Despite the streetcar serving non-alcoholic beverages, you’ll still have to be legal drinking age to participate.
Guests can board for free at Richmond & Spadina, with convenient drop-off points at Queen & John, Queen & Dovercourt, and King & Portland.
Within the “streetbar”, you’ll be given a Route 0.0 wristband, granting free entry and a Heineken 0.0 at participating venues such as Score on Queen, Fifth Social Club, Sweaty Betty’s, and Wheatsheaf Tavern.
Heineken Route 0.0’s live DJ performance schedules are as follows:
Saturday, January 11: 9:30–11:30 p.m. with DJ ACE
Saturday, January 18: 7:30–11:30 p.m. with DJ Dre Ngozi
Saturday, January 25: 7:30–11:30 p.m. with DJ SEB C
Get ready for an unforgettable night, Toronto!
