If your idea of a hot date is affordable furniture and Swedish meatballs, IKEA has your Valentine’s Day covered.
On February 14, the home decor store will be hosting their annual Valentine’s Dinner for 2, which includes a three-course meal, Nordic Fruit water, and mocktails all for just $34.99 for two people.
Whether you bring your partner, friend, or family member, it’s up to you – but you’d be hard-pressed to find a better dinner deal in Toronto.
The only catch is that you’ll have to pick up your tickets from the in-store restaurant in advance, as they will not be available on the day-of.
With each adult ticket, you’ll get a starter, main, dessert, and mocktail. The entrees include your choice of the following options:
1. Meatballs in a Demi-glace sauce served with mashed potato and vegetables along with a kale salad with a lingonberry vinaigrette
2. Sundried tomato pesto Plant Balls or Veggie Balls served with a butternut squash ravioli, sun-dried tomatoes, basil, and Parmesan cheese
3. Mediterranean Salmon served with roasted potatoes, zucchini, and a fresh arugula salad topped with kalamata olives and cherry tomatoes drizzled with a lemon vinaigrette
Alcoholic beverages are available to be purchased separately. If you have kids, you can also add a ticket for them to the deal for just $5.99.
Within the GTA, the Etobicoke, Vaughan, Burlington, and North York stores will offer the dinner from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. Just be sure to secure those tickets ahead of time!
