Celebrity sightings out and about in Toronto’s food scene aren’t uncommon, but one Yorkville restaurant received an unexpected visit from three very famous brothers yesterday.
The Jonas Brothers, who are currently in the city celebrating their 20th anniversary, stopped in to dine at Adrak Yorkville last night, much to the surprise and delight of the restaurant staff.
Known for their chart-topping hits like “Leave Before You Love Me” and “SOS”, Joe, Kevin, and Nick Jonas also proved they have excellent taste, opting for the Michelin Select destination known for their elevated Indian cuisine.
The brothers indulged in a lavish meal featuring some of Adrak’s signature dishes, including the royal pista lamb chop, prawn tandoori, and chai biscuit.
A spokesperson for Ambica said that all the brothers said that the food was amazing, with the Chai biscuit dessert being one of their highlights.
“Being able to have them dine at Adrak Yorkville was the best way to start the year and it was so amazing to have the brothers in,” Ambica stated.
Adrak Yorkville gained recognition in the Michelin Guide for their regal, gorgeously designed dining rooms and “precisely seasoned, carefully cooked dishes inspired from regions all across India.”
The Jo Bros are no strangers to Toronto, having spent a lot of time here over the course of their career.
The majority of Camp Rock was filmed just hours away from the city, at locations like the YMCA Camp Wanakita in Haliburton and Kilcoo Camp in Minden.
Kevin has also mentioned in a past interview with TikToker Rebecca Tandon that some of his favourite things about Toronto are the “food, people, and the shopping”.
