If you were lucky enough to snag a ticket to Game 2 of the 2025 World Series taking place this Saturday, October 25 at the Rogers Centre, you’re in for yet another treat.
American pop rock band the Jonas Brothers are scheduled to deliver a special performance at the stadium as part of a tribute to Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C). Serving as Mastercard’s Stand Up To Cancer ambassadors, the group will perform “I Can’t Lose,” a song that has become an anthem for the campaign.
The performance is part of a long-standing partnership between Major League Baseball and Mastercard, who just announced an extension of their collaboration.
“We’re proud to celebrate our partnership with Mastercard in support of Stand Up To Cancer during such a meaningful moment at the World Series with a performance of ‘I Can’t Lose,’ in tribute to this powerful campaign,” said the Jonas Brothers.
“As lifelong baseball fans, it’s special to be part of a moment where music and purpose come together.”
For the first time since their back-to-back championships in 1992 and 1993, the Jays will compete for the title, taking on the defending champion Los Angeles Dodgers.
The best-of-seven series begins at home, with Games 1 and 2 set for Friday, October 24, and Saturday, October 25, at the Rogers Centre in Toronto. The matchup then moves to Los Angeles for Games 3 through 5, starting Monday, October 27.
If necessary, Games 6 and 7 will return to Toronto on October 31 and November 1, giving fans the chance to see the team potentially clinch the championship on home turf. All games will start at 8 p.m. ET (5 p.m. PT).
Now, you have even more reasons to tune in. Time to sing your hearts out to ‘I Can’t Lose’ – go Jays go!
