The NHL’s 2024 All-Star Weekend returns to Toronto from February 1 – 3, 2024, and it looks like Ontario’s own Justin Bieber will be in attendance.
2024 marks Toronto’s ninth time hosting the event, and this year, it will extend over three days instead of the usual two. In addition to Friday and Saturday’s events, we’ll now also have All-Star Thursday.
Hockey fans can anticipate the All-Star Players Draft at 6 p.m. on February 1, where captains of all four All-Star teams will be paired with celebrity captains to select their team from the pool of 44 NHL players.
The usual events will follow, such as the skills competition on February 2, a three-on-three game with players from the Professional Women’s Hockey League, and the All-Star Game itself on February 3.
Justin Bieber, a huge Leafs fan himself, was confirmed to be coming to the game via a video the Maple Leafs posted to their social media accounts.
It is expected that Bieber will take part in the player draft, serving as one of the celebrity captains. Known to be good friends with Auston Matthews, the popstar has played shinny before with other Maple Leafs players, as well as designed Leafs jerseys and merch for his clothing line, Drew.
Tickets for the various events over All-Star weekend are available for sale on Ticketmaster, but you can anticipate to shell out a pretty penny for the main All-Star Game. For those on a budget, you can catch the game at home on Sportsnet.
