It’s official! K-Dot is coming to T-Dot next summer, and he’s bringing SZA along with!
Kendrick Lamar just announced his first ever stadium tour in a joint post with the ‘Good Days‘ singer on social media earlier this week, with a total of 21 North American stops.
The Grand National Tour kicks off in April 2025, and includes one Canadian stop in Toronto at the Rogers Centre on June 12, 2025.
Kendrick only just dropped his fifth studio album “GNX” unannounced two weeks prior on November 22, which skyrocketed to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.
SZA is featured on two of the album’s songs, ‘Luther’ and ‘Gloria’, though has collaborated on others in the past with the Compton-based rapper.
SZA’s last scheduled stint in Toronto back in October 2023 was cancelled just minutes before she was set to perform due to illness, and her rescheduled date of December 2025 was also cancelled.
The Grand National Tour is also creating a lot of buzz, as it marks the first time Kendrick will perform in Toronto since his reignited feud with Drake. The Canadian rapper was the target of a number of Kendrick’s diss tracks, including ‘Like That’, ‘Euphoria, and ‘Not Like Us’, whereas Drake responded in ‘Push Ups’, ‘Taylor Made Freestyle’, and ‘Family Matters’.
Tickets for the Grand National Tour go on sale tomorrow, December 6 at 10 a.m. local time, with a Live Nation pre-sale for Canadian ticket buyers starting yesterday, December 4.
