When you think of Christmas, most people would think of sparkling lights, cheery music, giving back, and Santa. Well, this Toronto event is anything but, embracing the darker side of the holidays.
Returning for its twelfth year to Toronto, Krampus Ball promises a night of costumes, music, and mesmerizing performances, all inspired by the folklore of Krampus, the yuletide demon.
The Krampus Ball is organized by Squid Lid, a dark electro spectacle group, and will feature an eclectic lineup of live music, aerial acts, flow arts, burlesque, and interactive installations.
Taking place this Saturday, December 7 at the Opera House, this year’s performers include Squid Lid featuring A.P.E., Projekt F, Bass Witch, and others.
Guests are encouraged to fully immerse themselves by donning creative outfits, whether as festive demons, nutcrackers, or other holiday-themed characters.
It’s the perfect escape from traditional festivities and a chance to connect with like-minded revelers in an inclusive and fantastical atmosphere.
Tickets are priced at $66.60 and can be purchased in advance.
