Circa Resort & Casino, the D Las Vegas, and Golden Gate Hotel & Casino are now offering a new “At Par” program, allowing guests to use the Canadian dollar at equivalent value to the American dollar.
Under this plan, eligible Canadian visitors will receive $1 USD in value for every $1 CAD spent on select offerings. This essentially provides an immediate, massive discount on the current exchange rate, letting your loonies stretch further than they have in years.
The perks aren’t just limited to your room rate, either. The “At Par” commitment spans across three key areas of the resort experience, including hotel stays, beverage offers, and casino play.
If you book a stay at any of the three participating properties, you’ll pay the listed USD price in Canadian dollars at check-in. Select venues including BarCanada at the D, Overhang at Circa, or the historic Bar Prohibition! at Golden Gate are also offering their drinks at par. Finally, guests can even redeem up to $500 CAD in slot promotional play at full U.S. dollar value, giving you a little extra luck on the casino floor.
This unique promotion was created by CEO Derek Stevens, who grew up right across the water from Ontario and wanted to “find a way to welcome best friends back to the desert”. To take advantage of the deal, you’ll simply need to present a valid Canadian passport or government-issued ID upon arrival.
Canadians appear to be skipping Las Vegas more than usual, with visits dropping amid backlash to Trump’s anti-Canadian rhetoric and tariffs. The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority reports an 11% decline in visitors, a downturn not seen since the COVID-19 pandemic.
