If you’re looking for something to do outside that doesn’t cost anything, then this is the activity for you. Head over to Trillium Place to see dazzling light installations created by local Ontario artists at this year’s Lumiére: The Art of Light. From dusk to 11 pm on Monday through Sunday, head over and take in amazing and colorful installations, each one its own sight to behold.
Head in and make your way across the park, made easier with the numbered map they have on their website so you can make sure you won’t miss anything. Keep in mind, there are 16 unique installations to see.
While each piece is absolutely breathtaking on its own, some of our favorites include Disco Wall, an iridescent acrylic wall made of spinning disco balls, Bioluminescent Being, inspired by the bioluminescence found in some Marine animals, and Allochory, a motion-activated sculpture of light that interacts with visitors.
Lumiére: The Art Of Light, is around for a whole other month, ending on May 7th.
