A highly anticipated new greenspace is opening just north of Toronto this weekend, and Newmarket is celebrating in a big way.
Mulock Park is holding its grand opening celebration on the evening of Friday, September 18, featuring a three-day bash packed with live music, community activities, and a retro roller skating party.

From sprawling picnic lawns and winding forest paths to an Art Gallery of Ontario exhibit space tucked inside a historic estate house, you’ll get to explore 16 acres of brand-new parkland, catch live stage performances, and soak up the fresh air.
Lace up some skates and groove through the trees at the SKATEVAN retro roller rink, grab a bite at the new Chickadee Café, or take the kids to explore the interactive Hollow Log Play Park. The grand opening lineup will also feature dueling pianos, live art workshops, and lawn games throughout the grounds.

Admission to the park and grand opening festivities is completely free for all visitors. Skate rentals and protective gear will be available on-site, but you can also bring your own pair to roll along the paved Woodland Loop.
The Mulock Park Grand Opening will take place at 33 Mulock Drive from Friday, September 18 to Sunday, September 20. Festivities kick off Friday at 5 p.m. and run throughout the entire weekend.
