Toronto’s Rosedale neighbourhood might be home to one of the city’s most aesthetic cocktails bars for those who love pink.
Found within a historic building set above a piano store, Le Tigre is a small, intimate space that oozes sensuality, aided by the warm hue of pink neon lights enveloping the bar.
Featuring a central pink quartz bar top, tropical plants, and tiger-themed motifs found throughout, Le Tigre is brought to you by the same team behind Dundas West’s popular Cry Baby Gallery, but with a far different theme.
Inspired by the bars in London’s Mayfair neighbourhood, the new venture focuses on a softer design in contrast to the more gritty, industrial-inspired Cry Baby.
With a stacked menu of creative cocktails, each drink is served in a perfectly selected glass – such as the Ashley Madison, a watermelon and blood orange-flavoured Mai Tai served in a glass that resembles a bamboo stalk topped with mint and a decorative plumeria flower.
Martini fans can choose from a variety of options, ranging from the classics to one of Le Tigre’s six house recipes. For something fun, consider the Lychee, made with Casamigos Blanco, Calvados, Giffard’s Lichi-Li lychee liqueur and lychee-infused agave.
The bar also has an amazing happy hour deal, with half priced martinis every Monday all night long, and from Tuesday through Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m.
