Toronto’s free all-night contemporary art festival Nuit Blanche is back this October, highlighting over 80 works created by local, national, and international artists at various destinations throughout downtown.
Launched back in 2006, the beloved award-winning event changes its locations, theme, curation, and artists year over year, attracting locals and visitors from near and far.
This year’s theme is Bridging Distance, which welcomes audiences to “explore ways in which they experience and perceive distance”.
With three exhibitions to check out, the festival will also include a number of talks, tours, and workshops that allow visitors to get closer to the creative process than ever before.
New this year will also be a number of interactive experiences and exhibitions along Toronto’s waterfront, along with the Nuit Blanche Event Hub found at Harbour Square Park.
The hub will bridge the distance between two waterfront exhibitions, and serve as a destination to grab a bite, see pop-up performances, artist talks, and participatory experiences.
Nuit Blanche 2024 will run from 7 p.m. on Saturday, October 5 through Sunday, October 6 at 7 a.m.
