Couldn’t make last-minute restaurant reservations?
Don’t panic. If you really want to make the night special for your Valentine, take them on a stroll through the immersive Ontario Place Light Exhibit. [Featured image: @diegoandliza]
For the third year in a row, the Ontario Place Light Exhibit is back on West Island. The luminous exhibition showcases a myriad of tantalizing art pieces that provide a beautiful, immersive experience.
The exhibit features 21 innovative installations from artists across Ontario. Take your Valentine through the wintry landscape and look upon the dazzling neon pieces while the distant glow of light shimmers on the calm waters of Lake Ontario.
If it gets too cold, snuggle up by their campfire with a couple mugs of hot chocolate. Roast a marshmallow at the fire. Or cruise into the Snack Shop where you get a snack and something a little stronger than hot chocolate.
It’s highly doubtful that the atmosphere won’t fill you with inspiration. Let your creativity flow at their art class, where a local artist will be present to assist you if needed. For more information on their special programs, visit their homepage.
Make this Valentine’s Day special, fill your hearts with light at the Ontario Place Light Exhibit!
If you’ve already booked fancy schmancy dinner reservations, first off, kudos for the forsight, but don’t worry the exhibit is open now until March 29th. Oh, did I mention that it’s free!
