Now that warmer temps are finally back on the horizon after a frigid end to May, there’s nothing more that we’re looking forwards to than summer in Toronto!
With that comes the return of Palapa Tours, the city’s original Hawaiian-style floating tiki bar, which welcomed back guests last month as of May 3 and runs daily all the way through September.
The one-of-a-kind tropical cruise takes you on a 90-minute tour around the Toronto Islands on one of two custom-built tiki boats equipped with a fully licensed bar.
You will get to order tropical drinks onboard and take in stunning views of the Toronto skyline and islands set to the sounds of curated music playlists. In addition, you’ll receive a complimentary souvenir Palapa glass with your ticket – just like vacation!
Alcoholic beverages onboard range from $7-$15. Not drinking? They also have non-alcoholic drinks, so they’ve got you covered! Snacks are also available for purchase, but guests are welcome to bring their own food if they wish.
You can join a public cruise by booking individual tickets or go all-out with a private charter for up to 12 guests – perfect for birthdays, bachelorette parties, corporate events, and summer celebrations.
New this year, Palapa Tours is also offering themed events throughout the season, sunset cruises, and monthly karaoke nights.
The cruises run seven days a week and fill up fast, so be sure to book your spot online well in advance on their website!
