One of Toronto’s show-stopping restaurants, Piano Piano, recently opened a new location on Colborne in February, and this one has been getting quite a bit of attention for good reason.
The ambiance is dark and dreamy with checkered floors, lamps with fringe, leopard plush seats, and dim lighting. But the main attraction? The antique carousel that’s set up right in the middle of the bar, adding a dash of whimsy to an already maximalist decor. Trust us, you’ll want to be snapping as many photos and videos as you can.
As far as the food goes, one of their standout menu concepts is their $34 dollar lunch special with pasta or pizza, 1/2 an appetizer, and dessert. Their spring and summer menu is currently up and they’ve got plenty to choose from, making this an incredible deal in our eyes.

Choose from dishes like whipped ricotta, calamari fritti, burrata, Egg Yolk Ravioli pasta, or a King Oyster Mushroom pizza called the Fun Guy.
Since they just opened a few months ago, we’d highly recommend making reservations if you’re planning a weekend lunch or dinner here.
