For anyone making their travel plans for 2024 and have always wanted to visit both Iceland and Europe, one airline is letting you do both in one trip for no additional fee.
PLAY Airlines, an Icelandic low-cost airline which launched in Ontario last June, has just announced that Canadian travellers flying to Europe can add a stopover in Iceland of up to 10 days.
Why not tack on an adventurous pitstop to an already-exciting itinerary?
Iceland is known for its majestic natural wonders, including waterfalls, hot springs, glaciers, and Northern lights. With its proximity to Europe, PLAY’s stopover feature lets you explore the beautiful country at a low price.
Currently, PLAY operates daily flights to over 30 European destinations including Paris, Amsterdam, London, Copenhagen, and Athens, flying out of Hamilton’s John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport. This spring, they are also introducing a new route to Split, Croatia starting at $359.
The stopover offer will apply to any flights going through Iceland, and is already available to be booked on their website.
