
Toronto is gearing up for one of its biggest and boldest celebrations yet, as Pride Weekend 2025 returns to the city in just a few days!
Embracing the theme of “All In”, this year’s festival is a rallying cry for unity, love, and unapologetic queer joy.
While Pride Month spans the entire month of June, it all culminates in a spectacular weekend of parades, parties, and performances. Not sure where to start? Save this page for your trusty guide to Pride 2025.
Pride Weekend 2025 Key Dates:
Pride Festival Weekend runs from June 27 to June 29, and here are the cornerstone events you’ll want to add to your calendar:
Friday June 27:
- Opening Night at Nathan Phillips Square: Kick off Pride Weekend with an unforgettable opening night featuring a powerful Indigenous ceremony, global speakers, and show-stopping performances by Singing Out, Kaleena Zanders, Kiesza, Priyanka, and Rebecca Black’s Toronto DJ debut. Runs from 6 – 11 p.m.
Saturday June 28:
- Dyke March: The Dyke March invites Dykes and Lesbians to lead a proud and powerful procession through Church Street, beginning with a 1 p.m. rally and 2 p.m. march. Allies are welcome to join.
- Drag Ball: The biggest drag event of Pride Month returns to Nathan Phillips Square from 2 – 11 p.m. with over 70 performers from hit shows and local stages, delivering a free, high-energy, nine-hour spectacle of dazzling costumes, epic performances, and non-stop entertainment you won’t want to miss.
Sunday June 29:
- Pride Parade: This year’s Pride Parade features over 25,000 marchers and 250 groups in a powerful celebration of diversity, love, and inclusion. Kicking off at 2 p.m., the parade begins at Rosedale Valley Rd. and ends at Nathan Phillips Square.
- Closing party at Nathan Phillips Square: End the Pride Parade at the square with an afternoon of live DJs, food vendors, and a full-scale celebration running into the night. It will commence at 2 p.m. and end at 11 p.m.
Throughout the weekend, don’t miss the Church Street Fair, with over 200 vendors selling food, merchandise, and crafts in the heart of Toronto’s historic Gay Village. Church Street will be closed to car traffic during the final weekend, creating a massive pedestrian-friendly zone filled with food, music, drag shows, and community booths.
Pride Festival Week Events:
Leading up to Pride Weekend, Toronto will host numerous other pre-festival events you won’t want to miss, running from June 13 through 29. Consider stopping by some of these events and festivities in the coming days:
- Cabana Pool Party: Hosted by drag royalty on June 19, this epic pool party kicks off the summer at the newly-renovated Cabana Pool Bar complete with drinks, dancing, and city skyline views.
- Youth Pride Prom: Pride Prom returns for its 25th anniversary on June 24 with the dazzling theme “Gothic Pink Pony Club,” offering 2SLGBTQ+ youth (21 and under) a magical night of dancing, performances, games, food, and celebration.
- AIDS Candlelight Vigil: The AIDS Candlelight Vigil takes place on Tuesday, June 24 at 9 p.m. in Barbara Hall Park, offering a moving community gathering to honour and remember those lost to AIDS.
- Green Space Festival: The Green Space Festival returns to Barbara Hall Park from June 25 through 29, 2025, a five-day outdoor music and dance party.
