A record-breaking lottery draw is happening tonight, and Canadians across the country have the chance to take home the largest prize in the nation’s history.
The Lotto Max jackpot has reached a staggering $85 million for Tuesday night’s draw. The top prize climbed to this record level after no ticket matched all seven winning numbers during Friday’s $80-million draw.
If no one claims the grand prize tonight, the top prize will swell even further to an unbelievable $90 million for the next draw.
Along with the main jackpot, tonight’s draw offers plenty of secondary prizes. According to the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp. (OLG), players will also have a shot at 16 Maxmillions prizes worth $1 million each, as well as 85 Maxplus prizes worth $100,000 each.
Tickets are available for purchase online or at authorized lottery retailers until sales close at 10:30 p.m. EST tonight.
The Lotto Max draw will take place across Canada on Tuesday evening, with the winning numbers announced shortly after the drawing concludes.
