Picnic season is back in Toronto, and one of the city’s best parks is offering pizza and wine delivery directly to your blanket!
IL FORNELLO, a casual pizza restaurant is once again offering their Pizza at the Park series, letting parkgoers in Toronto’s east end order pizza, pasta, alcoholic beverages, and more right to Riverdale Park.
Launched during the pandemic times of social distancing and countless park hangs, the service created by the restaurant’s owner Sean Fleming is back for its fourth summer.
To get your park pizza delivery, you just have to order it online using the Ambassador app, then pick it up at the designated flag found near Withrow & Bain on Broadview Ave.
If you’re having difficulty, there’s also a QR code on the flag you can scan to order from.
Then, enjoy your meal while taking in the gorgeous Toronto skyline from the top of the hill!
IL FORNELLO’s options range from salads and apps like arancini and garlic bread, to penne alla vodka, classic and plant-based pizzas. There’s also beer, bottles of wine, coolers, and cider available.
Pizza at the Park is only offered on Thursday evenings from 5:30 – 9 p.m.
