Toronto’s east end is gearing up to welcome summer with a huge music and local food festival – and it’s compeltely free to attend!
The Riverside Eats & Beats Streetfest is making its highly anticipated return this June, turning 10 blocks of Queen Street East into a celebration of the community’s local businesses. If you’ve been looking for the perfect excuse to explore one of the city’s coolest neighbourhoods, this is it.

Taking place on Saturday, June 6, the stretch from the Don Valley Parkway to De Grassi Street will completely transform. We’re talking over 50 local eateries, breweries, and boutiques spilling out onto the sidewalks with street food, pop-up patios, and exclusive shopping deals you won’t want to miss.
The festival layout spans the Riverdale Art Walk with five local street closures and two parks included. Over at the Broadview main stage, you can grab a cold drink at the outdoor beer garden while catching live performances from local acts Samba Toronto and Reggaddiction.
Meanwhile, Riverside Common Park will be buzzing with a curated maker’s market, and Joel Weeks Park is set to host a variety of Pride celebrations, complete with live drag performances.
