It’s been a long, cold winter, but brighter days are about to arrive.
One of the most colourful ways to welcome spring is with a trip to a nearby tulip farm – and there’s plenty to choose from! The Roadside Flower Market in Niagara is officially kicking off its 2026 season this weekend, and it’s arguably one of the most Instagrammable ways to embrace the warmer weather.

Located just a short drive away in St. Catharines, this family-owned farm is set to transform into a rainbow-hued wonderland starting this Saturday. Spanning across massive, rolling fields, over 1.2 million tulips have been planted to create a floral display that feels straight out of the Netherlands.
The main draw is the “U-Pick” experience, where you can wander through endless rows of petals and hand-select your own blooms to take home. Whether you’re looking for Exotic Emperor whites or Moon Walk yellows, you can curate your own custom bouquet while soaking in the fresh country air.
For those looking for the perfect Instagram photo, the farm also offers designated photography areas and Golden Hour sessions to refresh your feed.

While the tulips are the stars of the show, the experience is also about supporting local agriculture. Guests can stop by the charming roadside flower house for fresh-cut arrangements or enjoy a bite surrounded by flowers at the on-site picnic areas.
The Roadside Flower Market is located at 1923 7th Street South and will be open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. starting this weekend through May 18, 2026 (weather dependent). You can grab your tickets in advance on their website to secure your spot among the blooms.
