Baseball fans can now catch a World Series game at the Rogers Centre for less than $20! Kind of.
With the exorbitant price of resale tickets upwards of $2,000 even for nosebleed seats, the dream of cheering on the Toronto Blue Jays as they take on the Los Angeles Dodgers in real life is sadly out of reach for many.
However, Rogers announced last week that it will be hosting massive watch parties at the stadium for Games 3, 4, and 5 of the World Series, with those games taking place at Los Angeles’ Dodger Stadium.
For just $15, the stadium is inviting fans to experience the thrill of the game at the official home of the Blue Jays, complete with fanfare, free popcorn, ballpark concessions, and access to Jays Shop as the Sportsnet broadcast plays on the ballpark’s videoboard.
You’ll get to feel the energy of a live game while supporting the community, as all net proceeds will go to the Jays Care Foundation. The gates to the watch parties open each night at 7 p.m., with the first pitch starting at 8 p.m. ET.
Besides the Rogers Centre, countless other venues throughout the city will host watch parties, from free screenings at Nathan Phillips Square to the University of Toronto. We’ve rounded them up here!
