Live mariachi music, folkloric Mexican ballet, and stunning art installations all housed within the city’s biggest museum – where else would you want to celebrate Día de los Muertos?
For years, ROM After Dark (RAD) has been one of Toronto’s hottest tickets, and for the first time ever, it’s landing on a Saturday night with a colourful Day of the Dead celebration.
Taking place the evening after Halloween on Saturday November 1, 2025, the event will be filled with performances and stunning exhibits to explore. Guests will be treated to live music ranging from soulful classics to party beats.
DJ Panza will be spinning the hottest Latin jams, including salsa, reggaeton, and old-school classics. The Mexicans Folk Ballet will capture the spirit of Mexico with their beautiful folkloric dance, and don’t miss the captivating El Experimento, a Latin cowboy drag performance that blends humour and sassy showmanship.
Plus, don’t miss Mexican-Canadian DJ Natalie Nox fusing folkloric influences with Afro and Latin house, or relax to the soulful mix of jazz and Latin classics from Nat Beja. And of course, Mariachi Mexico Amigo, Toronto’s most celebrated mariachi band, will be keeping the energy high.
Tickets get you more than just entry; your admission will include a complimentary drink and access to the entire museum. Explore the main exhibits, including the popular Sharks and Crawford Lake: Layer in Time, between performances.
In addition to the live performances, you can immerse yourself in Mexican cinema with a film screening of Macario, take part in a museum-wide Community Ofrenda to honour loved ones, and strike a pose at one of the Skeleton Selfie Stations for the ultimate photo op.
Tickets are sure to move quick, so you’ll want to book in advance. Admission is priced at $40 for adults 19+, and ROM Members can snag theirs for $36.
