Canadian actor and Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds has a new collab—and this one’s not for the screens.
The Vancouver local has teamed up with our beloved cafe chain Tim Hortons to deliver a new limited-time breakfast menu item that’s sure to become a fan favorite.
In a recent commercial, the company has unveiled Ryan’s Scrambled Eggs Loaded Breakfast Box, which combines eggs, hash browns, sausage or bacon, and chipotle sauce into a neat little box.
In the clip, you see Reynolds’ assistant fulfilling his “rider” (a list of personal backstage requests), which includes exaggerated demands like a jar of “fresh Vancouver air”, left-handed cane, newspaper with all references to birds redacted, and his highly specific breakfast order, which now comes to life in this new breakfast box—minus the “organic lava” cooking method.
In a statement about the partnership, Reynolds shared, “There’s something really special about having the chance to collaborate with such an iconic and beloved Canadian brand.”
“When I visited the Tim Hortons Test Kitchen, I took my role very seriously, by which I mean I ate an irresponsible amount of eggs. And honestly? I regret nothing.”
The loaded breakfast box marks another creative collaboration between Reynolds and Tim Hortons, following their earlier joint ad promoting both the coffee chain and the upcoming Deadpool & Wolverine movie.
Tims has also previously collaborated with Canadian popstar Justin Bieber to create the iconic Timbiebs, a limited-edition line of Timbit flavours like Birthday Cake Waffle, Chocolate White Fudge, and Sour Cream Chocolate Chip launched back in 2021.
Starting May 5, fans can enjoy Ryan Reynolds’ Loaded Breakfast Box at participating Tim Hortons locations across Canada. It’s a limited-time offer, so if you want to experience this celebrity-endorsed breakfast item, you better act fast!
