Summer is just around the corner, and that means the return of Toronto’s many beloved street festivals; including one that will transform the pavement into a massive dance floor.
For the past 22 years, TD Salsa on St. Clair has been a favourite July tradition, and this summer will be no different. The bustling cultural fiesta will feature over 750 artists and estimates over 920,000 visitors.

For two unforgettable days, a stretch of St. Clair Ave West in Toronto’s Hillcrest Village will be transformed into an explosion of Latin culture. The main event is a multi-block street festival featuring world-class performances, music, and a fantastic lineup of both local and international entertainers.
This year, the midtown celebration will see the neighbourhood come alive with the sounds of salsa, merengue, and bachata. The one-of-a-kind outdoor festival caters to attendees of all ages, whether you’re a seasoned dancer or just looking to take in the atmosphere.
The best part? Salsa on St. Clair is also completely free to attend. Besides the music, the event strives to showcase authentic heritage, meaning your senses are in for a treat.
Guests can indulge in a fiesta of irresistible cuisine from a variety of local food vendors, offering everything from fresh tacos and empanadas to mouthwatering cultural classics – which serves as the perfect fuel for an afternoon of moving to the beat.
