Summer in Toronto goes hand-in-hand with street festivals, and this weekend has another one you won’t want to miss.
The TD Salsa in Toronto Festival is back for its 20th year, bringing two days of salsa dancing, music, and food to St. Clair West all day long on Saturday, July 6 and Sunday, July 7.
The street will be closed from Winona Drive to Christie Street to transform into the biggest Latino-themed cultural celebration in the country.
Celebrating Latino culture, there’s going to be nonstop Latin dance, art exhibitions, concerts, and salsa dance parties to join in on – and it’s completely free to attend!
Anticipating over 335,000 people, get ready to take free public dance lessons in the streets, learning styles like Cha Cha, Bachata, and of course, Salsa.
After all that dancing, fuel up with some delicious traditional food and drinks at one of the countless festival vendors.
The festival will start each day at noon, with the TLN Fiesta Parade each day beginning at 12:30 p.m. On Saturday, the festivities will go until 10 p.m., and on Sunday, end at 8:30 p.m.
