While the trail network can be explored in as little as two hours, many visitors choose to spend a full day experiencing everything the park has to offer. Along the way, guests can also pan for gemstones, fish at the trout pond, ride the miniature train, or relax in picnic areas surrounded by nature.

The park lies within one of Canada’s UNESCO biosphere reserves, where ancient forests, escarpment cliffs, and diverse habitats support wildlife ranging from deer and migrating birds to ravens nesting on rocky ledges. Rare plants, including Maidenhair fern, can be found within the reserve.
