Canadian icon Shania Twain recently partnered with McDonald’s Canada, and you can try some limited-edition menu items with a touch of country flair.
Launched last week on August 12, Canadians can now try some of “Shania’s Sides”, and here’s what’s on the menu!
The tried and true McDonald’s fries everyone knows and loves are now available as All Dressed McShaker Fries. Made from 100% Canadian potatoes, these come coated in classic All Dressed seasoning – a Canadian staple! All you have to do is drop the seasoning into the bag and give it a shake before indulging, hence the “McShaker” named.
In addition, the collaboration features the return of Strawberry Pie, baked fresh daily. Wrapped in a warm, golden flaky crust, this sweet treat features real strawberry pieces and is the perfect way to end your meal.
An addition to the new menu items, McDonald’s is giving out limited-edition cowboy boot keychains, a nod to Shania’s country style. Customers can collect the keepsake with the purchase of an Extra Value Meal, while supplies last.
The collaboration hits home for Twain, who revealed in a press release she once worked as a McDonald’s crew member in Toronto before becoming an internationally recognized musician.
“This collaboration feels like a homecoming for me,” said Twain.
“I fell in love with McDonald’s fries while working as a crew member, so being able to dress them up with my personal touch was surreal.”
“Shania’s Sides” are now available exclusively at participating McDonald’s locations across Canada, but only for a limited time so visit your nearest restaurant soon! Customers can order in-restaurant, through the McDonald’s app, or via McDelivery.
